What's Involved

If there’s already a ceiling outlet in the right position, installation is straightforward. If there isn’t, we run a new circuit from the switchboard, install the appropriate ceiling outlet, and connect the fan. For fans with a light kit, we ensure the circuit is suitable for the combined load. We also advise on switch options — standard pull cord, wall switch, or remote control.

Outdoor and Alfresco Fans

For alfresco areas and outdoor spaces, it’s important to use fans rated for outdoor use (IP44 or higher). We can advise on suitable models and install appropriate weatherproof wiring and connections.
