Wired, Wireless, or a Bit of Both
If you’re building or renovating, wired is the way to go. Running C-Bus or KNX cabling while the walls are open costs a fraction of retrofitting it later, and a wired system is far more reliable than anything depending on Wi-Fi. We’ll work off your plans and get the rough-in right the first time.
If your home is already finished, wireless systems like SAL Pixie or Clipsal Wiser give you most of the functionality without opening up walls. Smart switches go straight into your existing wall boxes and talk to each other over their own mesh network.
Most homes end up somewhere in between — wired lighting through the main living areas, wireless for the bedrooms and outdoor spaces. We’ll spec whatever suits your house and your budget rather than pushing you toward one brand.
Set Up Properly, Then Explained Properly
A smart home you can’t operate is worse than no smart home at all. Once your system is commissioned, we walk you through it — how the scenes work, how to change them, how to add a device later, and what to do if something stops responding.
We also leave you with the documentation: what’s on which circuit, how the system is addressed, and the credentials for anything cloud-connected. It’s your home and your system, and you shouldn’t have to call the installer back just to rename a light.
Safe, Compliant, and Built to Last
All installation work is carried out in accordance with AS/NZS 3000 — the Australian Wiring Rules — and data cabling to AS/CA S009 by a registered cabler. We use quality components throughout: Clipsal and Schneider control gear, Hager circuit protection, SAL and Voltex lighting, and Cat6 cabling for anything data-related.
Every job comes with a Certificate of Compliance for your records, insurance and future reference.

Plenty of Sydney homes have a C-Bus or KNX system sitting in the switchboard that nobody knows how to use — the original installer is long gone and half the scenes do something odd. We take these on regularly. We’ll interrogate the system, document what’s actually there, fix what’s broken, and reprogram it to suit how you live now.
