Warehouse lighting has one job: let your team see clearly, move safely, and work quickly — without burning a hole in your power bill. Too many Sydney warehouses are still running old metal halide or fluorescent battens that draw serious wattage, take ten minutes to warm up, and leave dark patches over the racking.

BAC Group replaces all of that with properly designed LED high bay systems. Designed to the Right Light Levels, Not Guesswork

Different areas of a warehouse need different light levels. General storage areas typically call for around 160 lux, while packing benches, pick faces and inspection areas need 300–400 lux or more. Getting this wrong means either an unsafe workspace or money wasted on lighting you don’t need.

Real Savings on Your Power Bill

Swapping a 400W metal halide high bay for a modern 150W LED equivalent cuts that fitting’s consumption by more than half — and LEDs don’t need re-lamping every couple of years. Across a hundred-fitting warehouse, that adds up quickly.

Add occupancy sensors to low-traffic aisles and daylight sensors near skylights and roller doors, and you cut the run hours down further again. We’ll model the numbers for your site so you can see the payback period before you commit.

NSW commercial lighting upgrades may also be eligible for rebates under the NSW Energy Savings Scheme. We’ll let you know if your site qualifies and what that changes about the cost.

We know a warehouse doesn’t stop for an electrician. We work in stages, section by section, and schedule the disruptive parts for after hours or weekends where needed. All work at height is carried out with the correct EWP and scissor lift access, full SWMS documentation, and site inductions completed before we start.
